The District:

The Wichita East District is comprised of 41 churches ranging in size from small to large. These congregations are located in all types of settings from rural to urban and comprised of persons of all ages and varying walks of life.

What you may not know about your district:

The Wichita East District’s mission is to empower connection among local churches for developing spiritual leaders and making disciples for Jesus Christ.

Congregations across the district offer a wide range of spiritual growth and ministry opportunities open to all. In addition, most congregations provide online worship via Livestream or prerecorded services.

For those who do not have internet access First United Methodist Church offers a live TV broadcast on Kake (ABC) channel 10 at 11 am Sundays. Persons interested in learning more about the Christian faith or the United Methodist Church are encouraged to contact a local United Methodist pastor of the Wichita East District Superintendent.
