The District:

The Wichita West District is comprised of 44 churches ranging in size from small to large. These congregations are located in all types of settings from rural to urban and comprised of persons of all ages and varying walks of life. Jesus Christ invites all to live in a loving relationship with God and one another.

What you may not know about your district:

The Wichita West District was created in 2005 and covers the geography from I-135 in Wichita west through Pratt and Barber counties.

Congregations across the district offer a wide range of spiritual growth and ministry opportunities open to all. In addition, most congregations provide online worship via Livestream or prerecorded services.

For those who do not have internet access First United Methodist Church – Wichita offers a live TV broadcast on Kake (ABC) Channel 10 at 11 am Sundays. Persons interested in learning more about the Christian faith or the United Methodist Church are encouraged to contact a local United Methodist pastor of the Wichita West District Superintendent.

The district office is located at East Heights United Methodist Church. Parking is on the East side of the church. Enter through the “Garden Entrance” under the covered walk. Take a right down the hall and we’re the first door on the right.
